AIS Sharks Competitive Swimming Program

The AIS Sharks Competitive Swimming Program has grown into one of the most recognised swimming programs in Singapore. It is designed for students who wish to pursue swimming to a competitive level and are excited and enthusiastic to train and compete more than once a term.Swim squad athletes train between five to eight times per week depending on individual needs and physical development. The swimming program includes land training and a daily pre-workout routine. The structure of the AIS Sharks Swim Squads allows every swimmer to develop the skills necessary to contest 100m, 200m and 400m Individual Medley Events, challeging all swimmers physically and metally. With an energetic and knowledgeable coaching staff, atheletes recieve innovative and creative training sessions.

The overall goal of AIS Swimming is to foster an environment where the individual is allowed to grow in a team dynamic while using swimming as a vehicle for lifelong learning and athletic endeavor. Our program has prepared many FINA World Cup (Singapore), Australian Age Nationals, Singapore Age & Open National Finalists and Champions.

Competitive squads are selected at the end and beginning of every term, based on skills level, training, recent achievements, and being able to perform the selection criteria for Squad Swimming.

In order to join the AIS Swimming Program, swimmers will need to be assessed.

Assessments do not guarantee a place in the AIS Competitive Squad Program.

Swim operates from term bell to term bell (the first day of Term to the last morning of Term).
