VISION

Sharks Basketball Club is committed to ensuring basketball is available and enjoyed by as many individuals at the Australian International School (AIS) as possible. We are community focussed and strive through our mission, goals, activities and actions to enrich the lives of our members through basketball training and competition.

MISSION

● Provide an organised place to enjoy basketball to maximise participation.

● To develop all players to their potential physically and emotionally in a friendly and inclusive environment.

● Provide a safe, supportive and harassment-free environment for our players, coaches, administrators, volunteers and members.

PROGRAMME GOALS

● Maximise individual participation in a fun, safe and inclusive way.

● Equip players with an understanding of the game of basketball in order to play successfully according to their aptitude and ambition.

● Provide a broad range of experiences that add variety, sustain interest and fosters skill development.

● To provide age and stage practice and competition opportunities that will allow players to develop the appropriate skills for their stage of development.

● To use basketball as a vehicle to foster a wholistic personal growth experience.
