What is the difference between Club Basketball and School Rep Basketball?
- The Sharks Basketball Club is set up to cater for those who want to participate in a year-round basketball competition/program. The Sharks Basketball Club ranges in participant numbers from 190 – 250 players, meaning we enter approx. 20 - 30 teams into the CBL League each season. We run two seasons per year.
- The School (AIS) basketball representative program (also called Sharks) offers in week training and competition at limited times during the year. (See diagram below)

Picking up and Dropping off Children
Our club is committed to providing a safe environment for the participation of children and young people. Part of this is ensuring that children and young people get home safely after practice and/or games.
What we will do
- Make sure parents/guardians and children know the time and location of practice and games and when they can expect their children to start and finish their activities.
What we ask you to do
Communicate with the manager or Head Coach of your child’s attendance.
Parents are to ensure children safely arrive and depart from training and game venues.
What is ACSIS (School League)?

The Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools (ACSIS) provides 28 Singapore international schools with a comprehensive sports program for age groups 11U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 19U over three seasons.
This competition is league based – Each team attends one weekday training and a weekday game.
Finals are usually conducted at the end of each season to confirm top 3 placed schools.
How to register - The school will send out sign up emails and try out details for the relevant age groups and season.What is SEASAC (School Tournament)?

SEASAC is an overseas sports conference providing end of season, high quality tournaments for Senior teams against other major international schools from around South East Asia.
SEASAC Trials are conducted from which a 'travel' team is selected to attend the SEASAC tournament (Tournaments may be played within or outside Singapore).
What is ASIA (School Tournament)?
AISA (Australian International School Association)
The Australian International school’s association brings together Australian International schools from throughout ASIA to collaborate and promote interaction and cooperation through a sports tournament.
It is a way teachers, students and school staff can jointly promote the advantages of an Australian education throughout the region, share ideas, methodologies and strategies in the spirit of international education.
Currently AIS schools from Singapore, Thailand, Dhaka, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Phnom Penh, Sharjah and Vietnam compete in a tournament style competition.
AISA Trials are conducted from which a 'travel' team is selected to attend the AISA tournament (Tournaments may be played within or outside Singapore).
