Coaches across all sports are conscious of how much time society is spending on screens. Spending large amounts of time travelling, commuting, studying and the like isn't conducive to getting the body into the long strong shapes. It's likely COVID-19 isolation has exacerbated this problem.

We ask swimmers to consider posture and counteracting screen time when scheduling exercises.

Select workouts that require: a Long Neck, extension through the Thoracic Spine and recruitment of the Abs, and Gluts. Many of the exercises listed in our S&C section tick these boxes.
