Dear Parents,
We have reviewed AIS Sharks Swim Team travel policy for the Bangkok Patana School (BPS) Feeding Frenzy Meet, December 2018.
In accordance with AIS guidelines, the AIS Sharks Swim Team travel policy includes the following:
Year 3 Students - must travel and stay with parents
We would like to extend an invitation to age-appropriate AIS Sharks Squad Members to participate in Feeding Frenzy. Swimmers must be age 9 or above on the day of the meet in order to enter.
Eligible students in Year 3 wishing to take this opportunity must be accompanied by a parent / guardian 100% of the time. Coaching / duty of care will be performed by AIS coaches throughout the meet while at BPS, however a guardian must be on campus at all times. These swimmers may choose to sit with the AIS Sharks Team in the Eastern Grandstand and / or with their parents on the Western side of the competition pool.
Year 3 Swimmers may only participate in team activities on BPS grounds.
Students in Year 4 and above will be travel as a team for the whole trip.
Travel Recommendation for Parents
We would recommend parents to fly to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). It would take approximately 45 mins by car to get to the Novotel Bangkok Bangna Hotel.
Hotel Recommendation for Parents
We would advise parents who will be traveling to Bangkok to accompany your child or to watch the meet to stay at the Novotel Bangkok Bangna. Click here to view the hotel website.
Parents are to make their own bookings for flights and accommodation over the weekend.
